Bella Vita City Grill

Bella Vita City Grill was established in December 1996.  Built from the ground up with a lot of determination and hard work by Executive Chef Anthony Cambria Jr., and Anthony Cambria Sr., it is now a landmark restaurant in the town of St. James. Twelve Years later the original staff is still providing professional service and contributes to the continued success of Bella Vita.

Those close to the Cambria family know that the name "Bella Vita" means much more than just the Italian translation of "a beautiful life."  Anthony Cambria Jr.'s grandmother was named Vita Marie.  Vita was a strong and passionate Italian immigrant, who loved to cook for her family and friends. Her kitchen was the heart of the home! When choosing a name for this restaurant, there was no question that Vita Marie would be a source of inspiration for Anthony and a good luck symbol for this new establishment.                

The items on Bella Vita City Grill's menu reflect the fusion of Italian traditions and eclectic American cuisine.  It is chef Anthony's hope for today and tomorrow that Vita Marie's spirit and joy of cooking continue to live each day through the culinary splendor that Anthony has created at Bella Vita City Grill.
