You might not believe that you can find so much great skiing and riding so close to home. But you can, right here in the Berkshires - at Catamount!

Catamount's Trail Network
Catamount offers the most diverse trail network in the Berkshires! From super-gentle to super-steep, Catamount offers terrain that's just plain unmatched, over 30 trails and park areas in all.

The Snowsports Learning Area is a gentle area right in front of the Base Lodge. It's where kids and first-timers start out - and we make it easy with a Wonder Carpet lift. It's as easy to use as a moving sidewalk.

From there, most guests proceed to The Meadows - a beautiful six-trail complex served by a newly installed Triple Chairlift. The Meadows is perfect for skiers and riders who are getting ready to explore - and it's a favorite of families. Trails range from pretty runs through the woods to long, wide open slopes. There are lots of gentle, natural terrain contours - so you'll really get the feel of the mountain under your feet! In fact, 40% of Catamount's terrain is rated "easier."

The main mountain features 1,000 vertical feet of descent and an array of terrain. The blue-square ("More Difficult") Ridge Run connects to Upper and Lower Promenade, creating a 2½ mile top-to-bottom run - the longest ski run in the Berkshires.

For many guests, the Upper and Lower Sidewinder run is a particular favorite. It swoops and turns as it courses down the mountain. Sidewinder is one of ten 'More Difficult' trails at Catamount.

Love diamonds? Catamount has them! There's Upper and Lower Alley Cat, Upper and Lower Glade, and the moguled Off Stage trail. And then there's Catapult - Catamount's signature double-diamond trail. It's not just the steepest trail in the Berkshires - it's one of the steepest trails in the Northeast!
