What you should know before you arrive for your massage.
Health History and Information
When you arrive we ask that you complete a brief health history form. This is important to help the therapist better understand your needs, and to provide the safest possible massage services for your condition(s). All information given to the massage therapist is confidential, and may only be released to your doctor with your written permission. After a brief interview with you, the therapist will show you to your massage room.

Privacy
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us and proper draping techniques are used to ensure modesty. You can be assured of complete privacy to disrobe, and to dress after your session ends.

Atmosphere
Our massage rooms are always kept clean, are comfortably heated, and are lit with candles. There may be music playing during your massage treatment. If at any time you find the music or the lighting to be distracting or not to your taste, do not hesitate to request that your therapist change it.

Will the massage be painful?
Most of the time, massage is completely painless and very relaxing, and our goal is to treat every client with the utmost care not to cause any discomfort. However, sometimes during certain types of massage such as deep tissue or sports massages, it is possible that you may experience some pain during the session, usually as an indication of an area that may need more work. If there is excessive pain, be sure to let your therapist know immediately.

After the Massage
After your massage, you should feel deeply relaxed. We encourage you to take a few moments to rest and enjoy the sensation of well-being. Take your time getting up from the table. If you need assistance, ask your therapist. It is very helpful to drink fresh, pure water after your massage to help your body gain equilibrium. At the end of your session is a great time to book your next appointment!
